Through blood, sweat, and tears— like boot camp minus the workouts, the Sports Club offers a highly demanding work environment in which every team member is expected to go for the gold. Extremely competitive and goal-oriented, this bunch values indivdual achievement above anything else; and they don't hesitate to leave behind those who fall outside of their league. The Sports Club is a rigidly managed entity— every team member knows their place in the team and plays their part without batting an eyelid. One-rule-fits-all policy applies and all individuals are expected to conform to strict codes of practice. Always keeping their eyes on the ball, however, this bunch tends to get slightly erratic in their work style. At the end of the day, maximizing final results often requires changing one’s workout schedule, tweaking the exercise regime, and taking the fastest route to the finish line. The surfers of the working world, this branch of the Sports Camp offers an extremely relaxed work environment in which every employee is encouraged to develop their own way of ‘catching the wave’. As a whole, however, this bunch remains relatively faithful to their distinct traditions and work styles, taking on board ‘new tricks’ that enrich, rather than erode, their relatively laid-back organizational culture.
